Now also available in plastic
In addition to the well-known metal mounting frames, new versions made of plastic are now available for the Han-Port® front panel interface solution. This significantly "lightens" the task for users who want to connect external devices in order to access controls and systems in control cabinets.
Han-Port® front panel interfaces are used to connect external devices to machine controls located inside control cabinets or machine enclosures. They enable easy access to controls, which is useful in scenarios such as diagnostic or service events in plants and machinery.
The new Han-Port® mounting frames are available as single and double frames. Users can choose between transparent and metallic finishes for the covers. A 3 mm double-bit closure is available for locking the cover. By click in the enclosed rotation knob in the double-bit closure enables rotation knob closure. The use of high-quality plastics and IP 65 degree of protection (with closed cover), the new plastic mounting frames can also be deployed in harsh industrial environments.
The mounting frames feature a spring mechanism that lifts the unlocked cover upward by 30°, allowing users to easily detect whether the cover is closed. Approvals by outside bodies, e.g. NEMA and UL, assure use virtually worldwide.
The well-known plug sockets and/or data modules are inserted and snapped into place in the new Han-Port® mounting frames. This modular system facilitates a variety of combination options and allows customers to react flexibly to their different interface requirements.
